Services for Weston Homes and Businesses

Residential Moves

We move family homes across Weston and between Weston, Schofield, Rothschild and Wausau. Furniture padding, door jamb protection and setup are part of every home move.

Apartment and Duplex Moves

Weston has several multifamily streets, including Foothill Avenue, Jessica Street and Weiland Avenue. We carry furniture through shared halls and up stairs and protect doorways along the way.

Business Moves

Businesses along the WI-29 and Camp Phillips corridor can book office moves with setup of desks, workstations and electronics.

Packing and Storage

We pack full homes or selected rooms and store belongings in climate-controlled, 24/7 monitored facilities between homes.

Other services in Weston include long-distance moving, furniture moves, junk removal, senior moves, piano and hot tub moving and labor-only help.

Weston Winter Parking Is Changing

Weston’s winter parking rules are under review in 2026. Under the current rules, the village uses alternate side parking on all streets from 4 AM to 4 PM in winter. In September 2026, the Village Board considered a new overnight ban on all streets from 2 AM to 7 AM, matching the hours used in Schofield and Rothschild, with daytime rules applying only in multifamily areas.

What This Means for Your Move

Check the village’s current winter parking rules before a move between late fall and spring. If you live on a multifamily street such as Foothill Avenue, Eric Street, Jason Avenue, Jessica Street, Weiland Avenue, Fox Street, Mount View Avenue, Randylyn Street, Ryan Amy Drive or Lang Lane, daytime rules may apply to you as well. We plan the truck position around whatever rule is in force on your move date.

Getting Around Weston on Move Day

The WI-29 Corridor

The WI-29 freeway runs through Rothschild and Weston and ends at Ringle to the east. It links Weston to Wausau, to Chippewa Falls to the west and to Green Bay to the east. For long-distance moves, WI-29 and I-39 are the main exits out of the area.

Trash and Bulky Items

Harter’s Fox Valley Disposal became Weston’s waste hauler on January 1, 2026. For furniture and appliances that will not fit in the cart, our junk removal service hauls them away. Electronics cannot go in a Wisconsin landfill, so we recycle them.

Schools

Weston is served by the D.C. Everest School District. If you are moving a family, many parents time the move for summer break.

Moving Within the Wausau Metro

Weston borders Schofield, Rothschild and Kronenwetter and sits a few minutes from Wausau and Rib Mountain. Many Weston moves are short hops inside the metro, such as a family moving from an apartment in Weston to a house in Rothschild, or a business moving from Wausau to the WI-29 corridor.

Short metro moves usually fit in one day. If your closing date and lease end do not line up, we store your belongings in climate-controlled, 24/7 monitored storage until the new place is ready. Winter moves here also share the roads with ski traffic to Granite Peak on Rib Mountain, which opened its 2025 season in late November, so weekend mornings in winter can be busier.
