The City of Merrill offers one free large-item pickup per tax parcel per year, from mid-April to early November. You schedule it through the City Garage. That pickup does not take appliances, electronics or construction debris.

If you are clearing out a house before a move, that leaves a gap. Our junk removal service takes those items. Electronics cannot go in a Wisconsin landfill, so we recycle them. Other items can go to the Lincoln County Landfill at N4750 Landfill Lane, which is open weekdays and on the first and third Saturdays of the month.

US-51 runs north to Woodruff and south to Wausau. WI-64 connects Merrill to Antigo and Medford, WI-17 heads north to Rhinelander and WI-107 links Tomahawk and Mosinee. Those routes connect Merrill to both of our nearby offices.
